Reunion 2008

Class Reunion 2008:
Here is the blog for discussing ideas for the upcoming 2008 reunion. Lets talk about the who, what, when and where right here. I have had allot of input on the following locations:

*Inner Harbor Baltimore
*Gettysburg area again
*The old Fairfield Arcade....just kidding
*Pocono's Mountain

We will also need to come up with a firm date. More input please!

I know that there would be a bit of "out of pocket expense" but I think that there is allot to do that would not break the bank.\

I agree with Shannon ~ I'm all for the Inner Harbor. It's a nice get-away, but close enough to PA that if people don't want to spend the night they can go home (assuming that they still live or have family in the area). We don't have to be right on the water...if we have the reunion at a hotel a few blocks away it'll be cheaper. We just have to commit to raise some money ~ I'm in!

Yes I agree that there is really no doubt about it...we need cash. I have looked into several things down there close...but not right on the main drag and we can pull it off. But....we need a little nest egg to cove a few things. I have taked with a few Hotel\Ball Room combos and they will give us cut rate rooms for people planning to stay.

Julie has a good point - I'd love to see everyones' kids. Maybe we could stick closer to Fairfield and have a late morning get-together at the Carroll Valley Park (which is REALLY nice now, by the way) and an evening dinner/dancing thing at night? Have you checked out some of the newer local hotels? I'm sure they have ballrooms and it would be a lot cheaper than the inner harbor.

Ya I have had some of that feedback as well. I think that is something we could do...if we all agreed on it.
